One Place Church engaged Equip Studio for the master planning and first phase design for a new campus in Hayden, Idaho, just north of Coeur d’Alene. The master plan of the 47-acre property includes a phase-one 46,000 sf. facility consisting of a 1,000-seat worship auditorium, children’s classrooms and theaters, and an expansive glass lobby with administrative wing that overlooks the numerous mountain ranges in the area.

The design of the facility brings in natural materials including wood, concrete, glass and steel—as well as a dark-toned board and batten cladding to express the mountain modern lodge feel that the church desired. The phased approach sets the church up for future phases that include a 2200-seat worship venue, outdoor amphitheater, event barn, recreation fields, and walking paths.
