Madison Polk

Madison first joined the Equip Studio team as a summer intern in May 2017, after graduating Magna Cum Laude from Clemson University with a Bachelor of Arts in Architecture and a Minor in Communication. Two years later, Madison completed a Master of Architecture degree at Clemson and then returned to the Equip team full-time. During her time at Clemson, Madison produced award-winning work focused on sustainability and was awarded the Henry Adams Medal: an award given to the top-ranked student for recognition of scholastic achievement, character, and promise of professional ability.
Madison is passionate about building design that is contextual and has a positive impact in its community. She finds joy in designing architecture that reflects a personality and sense of place unique to each project and client. Madison also has a particular interest and knack for graphic design. Originally from Spartanburg, SC, Madison enjoys living in the upstate and exploring all that the nearby lakes and mountains the area has to offer. In her free time, Madison enjoys reading, baking, knitting, attending Clemson football games, and spending time with family and her husband, Harrison.
