Alisha Coleman

Associate | AIA | Interior Design

Alisha Coleman joined Equip Studio at the beginning of 2017 with nearly a decade of experience in a variety of architectural and interior design projects. Having an educational background in both architecture and interior design has fostered an emphasis on the design integration of a building’s interior and exterior resulting in holistic design. Her diverse design education and professional experience helps Alisha bring focus to both the big picture, as well as the small details.

Alisha earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Interior Design from the University of Tennessee, Knoxville in 2005. Upon completion, she pursued a Master of Architecture degree from Clemson University, which she completed in 2008. While at Clemson, Alisha studied in Italy and traveled throughout southwestern and central Europe, exposing her to many styles of architecture. After completion of her Master’s degree, Alisha worked with LS3P Associates in both Greenville and Columbia for over seven years. During that time, she took a brief hiatus to invest as an Assistant Professor of Interior Design at Anderson University. She enjoyed sharing her diverse educational and professional experience with students of all levels.

When she is not focused on design, Alisha enjoys spending free time with her husband, Ward, and daughters Maggie and Lucy. You’ll also find her working on DIY projects and being outdoors whenever possible. Her favorite activities include water skiing and spending time on the lake. She is also involved with her church where she focuses time on preschool programs and the hospitality ministry.
