In 2020, Equip Studio was engaged by Connection Church to masterplan a new campus facility in Vidalia, GA. The church currently operates in a rented space on Southeastern Technical College’s campus – a situation that is not conducive for their worship service and children’s ministry space (not to mention separate from their administrative offices).

The one-story 27,000 sf. footprint will include a 550-seat worship center, lobby, cafe area, administrative suite, and a children’s education wing. The double-height lobby and adjacent gathering rooms will make for inviting spaces that align with the church’s goal to facilitate community and relationships. These gathering spaces will extend to concrete terraces where community building can take place outside.

The church opened its doors at the end of 2024.
