Multiply Church Concord currently has separate facilities for their worship center and children’s ministry that are divided by a four lane highway. In 2021, Equip Studio was engaged to help unite these facilities under the same roof and provide amenities to further root the 65-year-old campus in the Concord community.

The solution was to convert a 66,000 sf. retail space in an existing strip mall into a 1,000-seat auditorium, lobby with coffee shop, and children’s ministry space. Equip was tasked with transforming an existing strip mall façade into a threshold space to enhance the arrival experience. The new entry plaza and addition will demarcate the campus on Concord Parkway and provide wayfinding for visitors. The design reimagines Multiply Concord’s Old World aesthetic and blends it with the contemporary vision of the church’s younger generation.

Construction is currently scheduled to be completed in March 2024 with the goal of opening for Easter.
