As a growing, multi-generational church in Lithia Springs, GA drawing congregants from around the region, Atlanta West Pentecostal Church decided to grow where they are already planted. Through the EquipLABS process, a desire for a new 1,200 radial seat sanctuary as well as new, multi-functional lobby space were determined to be the primary needs of the congregation.

This new 32,000 sf. addition not only provides new radial seating sanctuary space and a large connective lobby corridor, but it also provides gathering spaces, a cafe, a spacious mom’s room, and a family ministry lobby (which will connect seamlessly to Atlanta West’s current facilities that will be transformed into dedicated children’s space). Additionally, a multi-purpose prayer room will provide a transformative space for many different ministry functions. The dedicated spaces for production and baptismal ministries flank either side of the sanctuary providing proximity for primary functions.

Externally, the design provides a wealth of natural light into the lobby, canopy coverage from the elements, and ample outdoor gathering space. The new site design will also open new visibility from the road, new parking, a more intuitive visitor experience, and a dedicated drop off area.
