Port City Community Church began working with Equip Studio on a masterplan for their Leland campus in 2019. The proposed Phase 1 new-construction facility includes a 400-seat worship center, lobby space, multiple informal meeting environments known as “living rooms,” and a children’s wing that includes a large group gathering space. At only 22,000 sf., the Phase 1 facility was designed to promote flexible use with its programming. The children’s space also serves the youth, and the “living room” spaces off of the main lobby accommodate admin space for church staff during the week.

Long term, the masterplan for this 11.8- acre site was designed to include a future expansion to the lobby and children’s ministry program, as well as a new 750-seat worship center.
