Journey Christian Church engaged Equip Studio to master plan and develop the adaptive re-use of an existing Costco building. The church’s vision for their new facility was “to create a church that would be people’s number option on Sunday morning.” Our team developed a unique design to engage people on all levels, cultivating a desire to return on Sunday and throughout the week to serve the community.

The 120,000 sf. warehouse will be developed in multiple phases. However, phase 01 includes a 1,100-seat worship venue, an expansive lobby, children and student space, administrative offices, and a chapel.
