Josh Guertin

Josh Guertin joined the Equip Studio team in the fall of 2020 after graduating from Clemson University with a Master of Architecture degree. He is passionate about projects that use creative design solutions to express the culture and values of their location.

Josh grew up in Massachusetts and earned his Bachelor of Fine Arts degree in Architecture at the University of Massachusetts Amherst in 2017. While there, he enjoyed a semester abroad in Florence, where he traveled through much of Italy and Western Europe. Following graduation, Josh joined a multi-disciplinary firm in New England and worked primarily in their Science/Technology studio. After a year there, he ventured south to Clemson University for graduate school, where he worked as a graduate assistant on design build projects with his professors. He also spent a semester in Barcelona, where he studied and visited contemporary architecture projects in Spain, the Netherlands, and London.

In his free time, Josh enjoys spending time with his wife, Gabrielle. Together, they love exploring the outdoors with their dog, Thor.
