Join Our Team

Equip Studio is currently hiring.

We are looking for someone to join our team who has a passion for collaborative design and good coffee. At Equip Studio, we like to have fun while we work, whether that’s listening to good music, cracking jokes or grabbing lunch together downtown.

We are passionate about architecture and we work with some of the best clients in the world. It’s a unique environment that allows us to get back to the core of what architecture should be: creative, imaginative, and collaborative.

We love what we do and we would love for you to join us.

A “Junior Project Manager” is someone who can jump right into a project with one of our experienced Project Managers and lighten the load. Our plan is to train you to become a full on Project Manager that we can trust to keep our clients happy and our reputation safe. We need someone who is thorough, self-motivated and dependable. Although an architectural license is not required, you should have plenty of experience modeling buildings, developing details, and setting up sheets in Revit.  You should also have already developed a good comfort level with communicating/coordinating with clients, consultants and contractors.

Requirements

Below, you will find a list of a few specific things we are looking for. Even if your skill-set doesn’t exactly align with what we have listed, we’d still love to hear from you.

Architectural Experience & Education
  • 4-6 years of experience at an architectural firm (or related)
  • Master’s Degree or Post-professional Degree in Architecture
Software Skills
  • Autodesk Revit
  • Autodesk Revit
  • Autodesk Revit (No really… this is important… if you don’t know how to set up a project from scratch and develop it into CD’s, then we wouldn’t be the right fit for you.)
  • Adobe CS – Specifically Photoshop, Illustrator and InDesign
  • Trimble SketchUp
  • Lumion – Preferred, not required
  • Use the Internet
Other Required Experience
  • Minor Project Management
  • Conceptual & Final 3D Modeling & Renderings
  • Schematic Design, Design Development and Construction Document Creation
  • Coordination/Communication with Clients/Consultants/Contractors

We hate the word “Intern” because it doesn’t fully explain the kind of team member we are looking for. At Equip Studio, we are committed to helping aspiring architects develop themselves for the future. This means that if you are looking for a job where you are stuck drawing restroom details, you should probably look elsewhere. We need someone who is thorough, self-motivated and dependable. You should understand the basics of how to put together a building and a great set of drawings. If you are a good listener and a quick learner, you will find that the sky is the limit for what you can accomplish by starting your career with us.
