Elisa Sowell joined Equip Studio in the summer of 2018 with a passion for architecture, urban, and interior design. Elisa is originally from Mexico; she moved to the United States in 2012 to attend Texas A&M. She has studied and worked in both countries, bringing over 8 years of experience in design and construction to our team. With a love for languages, she can communicate in Spanish, English, French, and Portuguese.
Elisa holds a Bachelor in Environmental Design from Texas A&M University with a Minor in Urban and Regional Planning, graduating Magna Cum Laude in 2014. In 2019, she graduated with a Master of Architecture from Clemson University with a Certificate in Community + Build. Elisa began her architectural studies at Universidad Autonoma de Veracruz Villa Rica (UNAM) prior to attending Texas A&M, and holds a Certificate of Interior Design from Gestalt Veracruz. Passionate about travel, Elisa has crossed the globe visiting more than 24 different countries exploring their architecture and urban fabric. Professionally, Elisa has completed commissions in Mexico for both residential and commercial design. In her spare time, Elisa enjoys spending time with her husband Brian, their dog Tucker, as well as traveling and dancing.
